Joanne Balston BA(Hons) CEO of New Light Property

Jo is the founder of New Light Property.  She draws together a team of respected and expert design and construction specialists, managing them through the procurement, design and construction process to convert existing commercial space into refreshed and renewed residential and business units.  

A construction industry professional with over 25 years' experience, Jo believes that all projects should be designed with the environment in mind.  As CEO she is the driving force behind New Light's focus on the regeneration of existing buildings.

Jo has led teams responsible for delivering elements within a wide range of projects, from  multi-million pound new-build developments through to more modest sized refurbishment and new build projects.  Her experience spans a diverse range of sectors including residential, historic, healthcare and education, and she has worked with an equally diverse range of developers including Mace Group, BDP and Hampshire County Council.
